Thomas H. Reams, Sr.

Thomas H. Reams, Sr., 70, of Osceola Mills, PA died on Thursday, July 6, 2017 at UPMC Altoona Hospital in Altoona, PA.

He was the son of the late Franklin & Angelina (Bonfitto) Reams.  He married D. Elaine (Bush) Reams on March 22, 1966 in Buffalo, NY; she survives at home.

Mr. Reams was of the Presbyterian Faith.

He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War and had received his GED.   He was a member of the Osceola Lodge #515 F. & A. M. in Osceola Mills, PA of which he was the Worshipful Master in 1996, a member of the VFW Post 5020 in Osceola Mills, PA, a life member of the Columbia Fire Company in Osceola Mills, PA & Central District Fireman Association and had served as an Osceola Mills Borough Council member.  He retired from NAPA in Philipsburg, PA and had worked for forty years as a coal miner for the former Stott Coal Company.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Carol Wilson and one brother, Frank Reams.

Along with his wife he is survived by: one daughter, Kim Mason & her husband Scott of Philipsburg, PA; three sons, Thomas H Reams, Jr. & his wife Peggy of Osceola Mills, PA, Michael D. Reams & his wife Holly of Clarksville, TN and Timothy F. Reams & his companion JoAnn Spencer of Ponca, NE.  He is also survived by five grandchildren.

A Funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 11, 2017 at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, PA: with Rev. Robert Bruinooge officiating.  Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.

Visitation will be on Monday, July 10, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time at the funeral home.

Masonic Memorial Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday, July 10, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.

Military Honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the Osceola Mills Honor Guard.
