Uyvette M. Poorman

Uyvette M. Poorman, 88, formerly of Osceola Mills, PA died on Friday, June 17, 2022 at Windy Hill Village, PSL in Philipsburg, PA.

Born on September 17, 1933 in Osceola Mills, PA, she was the daughter of the late Charles R. & Irene P. (Bush) Poorman.

She was a member of the Ohio United Methodist Church in Osceola Mills, PA.

Uyvette was Retired from Kroger Grocery Store in Pittsburgh, PA.  She was a 1950 graduate of the former Osceola Mills High School.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five sisters, Thelma Poorman, Olive Custer, Almeda Miller, Naomi Kreiser and Dolly Boisjolie; and three brothers, Clair, Charles and Darl Poorman.

Uyvette is survived by four sisters, Donna Medzie of Allport, PA, Phyllis Coyne of Osceola Mills, PA, Dorothy Brownfield of Glassport, PA and Joan Lansberry of Philipsburg, PA; and a brother, Francis O. Poorman of Monongahela, PA.

The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, 701 Lingle Street, Osceola Mills, PA 16666. Rev. Dr. Michelle R.Bodle and Pastor Donald Smith will officiate.   Burial will be at Summit Hill Cemetery in Morrisdale, PA.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 8:00 pm on Wednesday, June 22nd and Thursday from 10:00 am until the time of services at the funeral home.
