Mary Barbara Phillips
Mary Barbara Phillips, 90, of Osceola Mills, PA died on Sunday, February 20, 2022 at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College, PA.
Born on November 12, 1931 in Philipsburg, PA she was the daughter of the late John P. Timchak, Sr. and Inez V. (McDemic) Timchak. She married Ralph W. Phillips on June 11, 1949 in Osceola Mills, PA, he preceded her in death on January 2, 2012.
Mary was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osceola Mills, PA and she was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents and husband he was preceded in death by: one brother, John “Jack” Timchak, Jr.; one sister, Josephine H. Prentice; and one grandson, Anthony Phillips. She was the last of her generation.
Mary is survived by: one daughter, Robin L. Phillips of Osceola Mills, PA; one son, Ralph “Bill” Phillips & his wife Victoria of Osceola Mills, PA; three grandchildren, Stephanie Hayes & her husband Tom, Samantha Phillips & her husband Spencer Kephart and Ella Phillips; and two great-grandchildren, Christina Hayes and Parker Hayes.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church in Osceola Mills, PA with Rev. Father Robert Horgas Celebrant.
Burial will be at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be on Thursday, February 24, 2022 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC in Osceola Mills, PA. Rosary will be recited at the funeral home on Thursday at 7:00 p.m.
