Ronald S. “Buck” Petrosky
Ronald S. “Buck” Petrosky, 80, of Osceola Mills, PA died on Monday, April 3, 2017 at the Mt. Nittany Medical Center in State College, PA.
Born on March 9, 1937 in Osceola Mills, PA he was the son of the late Stanley & Eunice (Showers) Petrosky. He married Lily Mae (Wigfield) Petrosky on March 14, 1955 in Cumberland, MD; she survives at home.
Mr. Petrosky was a member of the Centre United Methodist Church in Osceola Mills, PA.
He was a retired Site Superintendent for Power Operating and was also a heavy equipment operator.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: a daughter, Sherry Lee Oswalt; a brother, Lemoyne Showers and an infant sister, Audrey Petrosky.
Along with his wife, he is survived by: one daughter, Rise Rena Cowfer & her husband George D. Cowfer, Jr. of Philipsburg, PA; three sons, Terry Petrosky of Osceola Mills, PA, Ronald S. “Buck” Petrosky, Jr. & his wife Sharon of Osceola Mills, PA and Keith Petrosky of Osceola Mills, PA; and one sister, Delores O’Donnell & her husband Pat of Williamsport, PA. He is also survived by: nine grandchildren, Keith, Terilayne, Shannon, Gary Shawn, Ronni Sue, Randi Lee, David Keith, Felicity & Cheyanne; and eleven great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 7, 2017 at the Centre United Methodist Church, Osceola Mills, PA; with Pastor Jennifer C. Heikes officiating. Burial will be at the Centre Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, PA and on Friday from 12:00 noon to funeral time at the church.
