Lily Mae Petrosky
Lily Mae Petrosky, 87, of Osceola Mills, PA died on Monday, April 10, 2023, at Mt. Nittany Medical Center in State College, PA.
Born on April 2, 1936, in Osceola Mills, PA, she was the daughter of the late William & Edith (Wigfield) Wolstencroft. She married Ronald S. Petrosky on March 14, 1955, in Cumberland, MD; he preceded her in death on April 3, 2017.
Lily was a member of the Centre United Methodist Church and the Red Hat Club of Philipsburg, PA. She was a Homemaker. And was a 1954 graduate of the former Osceola Mills High School.
Lily enjoyed reading, traveling, gardening, photography, shopping at the Amish Market, and was an avid sports fan.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sherry Lee Oswalt.
Lily is survived by a daughter, Rise Rena Cowfer & Her husband George D. Cowfer, Jr. of Philipsburg, PA; three sons, Terry Petrosky of Osceola Mills, PA, Ronald S. “Buck” Petrosky, Jr. & his wife Sharon of Osceola Mills, PA, and Keith Petrosky & his companion Tina Sharer of Osceola Mills, PA; two sisters, Nancy Rice of Osceola Mills, PA and Elsie Wilson of Osceola Mills, PA; seven grandchildren, Felicity, Cheyanna, Terilayne, Shannon, Keith, David, Tim, Brittany, Ronni Sue and Randi; and sixteen great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, April 14, 2023, at the Centre United Methodist Church in Osceola Mills, PA. Pastor Gloria Montgomery will officiate. Burial will be at the Centre Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be Friday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at the church.
