Emma Jane Patterson

Emma Jane Patterson, 74, of Osceola Mills, PA died Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Windy Hill Village P.S.L. in Philipsburg, PA.

Born on March 6, 1942 in Philipsburg, PA she was the daughter of the late Leslie & Elizabeth (Stott) Davis.  She married Gilbert G. “Buck” Patterson on February 1, 1964 at the Brisbin Baptist Church.

She attended the Brisbin Baptist Church and was a Past Worthy Matron of the former Houtzdale Eastern Star.

Jane along with her husband “Buck”, owned and operated the Scotchmen in Osceola Mills, PA for many years. She was a graduate of the Moshannon Valley Area School District class of 1960.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Lou Gearhart.

She is survived by: two daughters, Connie Hamilton & her husband Jim of Savannah, GA and Crissie Henry & her fiancé Dennis Haley of Aspers, PA; a son, Jason Patterson & his wife Jennifer of Osceola Mills, PA; eight grandchildren, Elizabeth Shawley, Rebecca Henry, Jared Miller, Trevor Miller, Hunter Patterson, Mason Patterson, Aaron Garito and Eric Garito and one great-grandson, Colin Shawley.

The Funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2016 at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, PA; with Pastor Mark Melhorn officiating.  Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.

Visitation will be held on: Friday, June 17, 2016 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.; and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral time at the funeral  home.
