Frederick Novak
Frederick Novak, 76, of Kirby TX and formerly of Osceola Mills, PA died Tuesday, March 24, 2015 in San Antonio, TX.
Born on September 30, 1938 in Osceola Mills, PA, he was the son of the late Paul and Kathryn (Kochan) Novak.
He was of the Catholic Faith. Mr. Novak was a veteran of the Vietnam War and 
retired from the U.S. Army in 1982. He was a 1956 graduate of the former Osceola Mills High.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: five brothers, John, Paul, Joseph, Michael, and Stephen Novak; and one brother-in-law Joseph Vingless.
He is survived by: two sisters, Anna Mae Croyle & her husband Charles of Philipsburg, PA and Mary Vingless of Morann, PA; numerous nieces and nephews; and Special Friends, John & Kathy Mechtel.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, PA with Rev. Father Scott Lill officiating. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Annunciation Ukrainian Catholic Cemetery in Ramey, PA.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 6, 2015 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral. A Vigil for the deceased will be held on Monday at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Military honors will be accorded by Osceola Mills Honor Guard.
