Thomas H. Melius
Thomas H. Melius, 80, of State College, PA died on Friday, December 10, 2021 at Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College, PA.
Born on February 22, 1941 in Whittier, CA he was the son of the late Irvin C. and Evelyn F. (Jones) Melius. He married Shirley (Dullen) Melius on July 5, 1969 in Philipsburg, PA: she survives at home.
He was Episcopal by faith.
Tom was a retired construction worker for HRI, Inc and was a 1959 graduate of the Philipsburg Osceola Mills High School. Tom always enjoyed going to his grandchildren’s activities.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: one daughter, Colleen Box; and one brother, William Melius.
Along with his wife he is survived by: three sons, Gregory Furrow & his wife Edna of Snow Shoe, PA, Thomas Gunter of Whitney TX and Brent Melius & his wife Michelle of Bellefonte, PA; one brother, Daniel Melius of Grass Valley, CA; five grandchildren, Tyler Furrow & his wife Megan, Brittney Furrow, Haley Furrow, Austin Melius and Madison Melius; and four great-grandchildren, Mason Amos, Oliver Furrow, Beckett Furrow and Blair Lewis.
A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
