Dorothy McClarren
Dorothy McClarren, 83, of Osceola Mills, PA died on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Windy Hill Village, P.S.L. in Philipsburg, PA.
Born on December 24, 1932 in Philipsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Pete & Mary (Cherifko) Smotzer. She married Leo G. McClarren on May 22, 1954 at the Ohio United Methodist Church in Osceola Mills, PA; he preceded her in death on December 1, 2001.
Mrs. McClarren attended the Ohio United Methodist Church in Osceola Mills, PA. She was a homemaker and was a 1950 graduate of the former Philipsburg High School.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: two sisters, Mary Smith & Jean Stone; and a brother, Pete Smotzer.
Mrs. McClarren is survived by: two daughters, Diane Williams & her husband David of Ramey, PA and Cindy Mann & her husband Rev. Bryan Mann of York, PA; a sister, Nancy Arnold of York, PA; six grandchildren, Lowell Williams, Rebecca Fetchu, Douglas Williams, Melissa Boyles, Laura Altland and Nathaniel Mann; and eight great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, PA; with Pastor Donald Smith officiating. Burial will be at the Baughman Cemetery in (Sanborn) RD Houtzdale, PA.
Friends will be received on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at the funeral home.
