Florence E. Martin
Florence E. Martin, 80, of Houtzdale, PA died on Friday, December 2, 2022, in Clearfield, PA, at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Sara M. & Nick Harper.
Born on July 22, 1942, in Brockway, PA, she was the daughter of the late Melvin & Leolyn (Levis) Henry. She married Norman R. Martin on June 16, 1962, at the Brisbin Baptist Church; he preceded her in death on March 22, 2010.
Florence was a member of the Houtzdale United Methodist Church.
She was a 1960 graduate of the Moshannon Valley High School and attended Lock Haven University for two years. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Rebecca Reed; and a brother, Charles Henry.
Florence is survived by two daughters, Robin Harchak & her husband Phil of Huntingdon, PA and Sara Harper & her husband, Nick of Clearfield, PA; a son, William Martin & his wife Helen of Canadensis, PA; two sisters, Melvina Kephart & her husband Dewayne of (Ashland) Osceola Mills, PA and Frances Fowler of Strongsville, OH; one granddaughter, six grandsons and one great-grandson.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Burial will be at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Brisbin, PA.
