Gerald Joseph “Jerry” Mandell
Gerald Joseph “Jerry” Mandell, 69, of Grassflat, PA and formerly of Osceola Mills, PA died on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at the Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Clearfield, PA.
Born on September 5, 1952 in Philipsburg, PA he was the son of the late Joseph and Helen (Katules) Mandell.
He was of the Catholic Faith.
Jerry was a member of the U.S. Army National Guard, a member of the Carpathian Club in Hawk Run, PA and was a retired carpenter. He was a 1970 graduate of the Philipsburg Osceola Mills High School.
He is survived by: his companion, Donna Lippert of Grassflat, PA; one daughter, Andrea Long & her husband Ryan of Philipsburg, PA; two sons, Nick Mandell & his wife Sue of Philipsburg, PA and Cody Mandell of Union City, NJ; two sisters, Rosemary Clawges & her husband Bill of Philipsburg, PA and Christine Welshonce & her husband Jim of Gettysburg, PA; five grandchildren, Logan, Morgan, and Hannah Mandell and Carson and Chelsea Long; and his puppy dachshund BooBoo.
The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC in Osceola Mills, PA: with Rev. Father Robert Horgas officiating. Burial will be at the Saint Joseph Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be on Monday, September 27, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Rosary will be recited at the funeral home on Monday at 7:00 p.m.
