Please accept our condolences. My Dad, Michael Kawa was his uncle and our family always said that Alfie
looked and talked like him. Although we hadn’t seen Alfie in a number of years we will always remember his
smile and pleasant personality.

Ed & Greg,
So very sorry to hear about the passing of your father! Thoughts & prayers are coming your way, during this difficult time. He was one of my favorite customers when I worked at the point in Clearfield. I was also, very blessed to have him visit in my home in Altoona on numerous occasions! Loved his conversation & his unique laugh! He will be greatly missed!
Death is nothing at all–I have only slipped away into the next room.
Whatever we were to each other, that we are still.
Call me by my old familiar name, speak to me in the easy way which
you always used.
Laugh as we always laughed.
Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same as it ever was: there is absolutely unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of your mind because, I am out of your sight?
I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near, just around the corner.
All is well, Nothing is past: Nothing is lost.
One brief moment and all will be as before–only better, infinitely happier
and forever we will all be one together in Christ.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Al. I remember Al growing up as a little league coach and Greg and I went to high school together. Al was always joking around. He always carried a little tape measure and would ask if you ever saw a three foot tape measure. When he pulled it out, it had pictures of feet on it. Just a great guy.

Ed and Greg and family,
My condolences on the loss of your dad. It’s amazing after all these years when I saw Al’s obituary in the CDT it brought back fond memories of the friendship our parents had with each other. Your mom and dad were always nice. May you find comfort in the memories you have and knowing your mom and dad are together now watching over you.
Thinking of you.

He will be missed very much. He was a very, good friend.
