Eva Jean Lukens
Eva Jean Lukens, 87, of Sandy Ridge, PA and formerly of Osceola Mills, PA died on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at the Hillview Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Altoona, PA.
Born on December 15, 1929 in Osceola Mills, PA, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Ivy (Keith) Herr.
She was of the Christian Faith.
Eva was retired from the Charles Navasky & Company of Philipsburg, PA and was a 1948 graduate of the former Osceola Mills High School. She loved watching Western movies, reading, loved cats and traveling.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: four sisters, Grace Charney, Catherine Stahl, Geraldine McCoy and Winifred Keith; and three brothers, Herman, Charles and Russell Herr.
She is survived by two daughters, Darla Blakeman & her companion David Strater of Bangor, ME and Linda Caisse & her husband Robert of Sandy Ridge, PA.
The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, PA: with Minister Karen Ferguson officiating. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. until funeral time at the funeral home.
