Rosemary L. Lansberry
Rosemary L. Lansberry, 70, of Osceola Mills, PA died Sunday, June 5, 2016 at UPMC Altoona Hospital in Altoona, PA.
Born on November 13, 1945 in Clearfield, PA, she was the daughter of the late John A., Sr. & Madeline (Ward) Carter. She was married to Raymond E. Lansberry, he preceded her in death on July 12, 1987.
Mrs. Lansberry was of the United Methodist Faith. She was a retired manager for the VFW Post #5020 in Osceola Mills, PA and a member of the Freeberg Social Club in the American Legion Home, Post 591 in Houtzdale, PA.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by: a sister, Joan Litzinger and a brother, David W. Carter.
She is survived by: a daughter, Betty L. Spencer & her companion John Fleck of Osceola Mills, PA; three sons, Carl E. Lansberry & his wife Mary of Brisbin, PA, Keith A. Lansberry & his wife Melissa of Houtzdale, PA and Curtis W. Lansberry & his companion Stephanie McLaughlin of Osceola Mills, PA; six sisters; and three brothers. She is also survived by: her companion, Albert “Red” Hoover of Philipsburg, PA; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 9, 2016 at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, PA with Rev. Robert Bruinooge officiating. Burial will be at the Fruit Hill Cemetery in Annsonville, PA.
Friends will be received on Thursday, June 9, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until funeral time at the funeral home.
A celebration of life dinner will be held at the Madera Moose on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 5:00 p.m.
