My Pappy Tom, there are not enough words to describe what your love and life meant to me. You loved me like no one in this world ever had. The way you would reminisce with me over memories of me growing up with you. I can still remember your laugh and your smile and the sound of “hey jesse” coming from your lips. I drive past your old house frequently and sometimes will just sit in the driveway remembering when. Remembering you, gram, uncle Glenny and Steven. In my memory it’s always a beautiful sunny day and you’re driving through the yard riding the tractor giving me a big old thumbs up as I would return the same. Sitting there seeing the house crumbled to the ground and the garage the only thing standing I think back to the swing sitting inside on the other side of that door. The one you use made for me and use to push me on as you worked away in the garage and I watched. You were my buddy and I was yours. I love you pap and I miss you and gram terribly, terribly, terribly. Thank you for showing up and for being my pappy Tom. I will forever love you and miss you, until we meet again. May you rest peacefully with God in Jesus name Amen.
