Lee E. Krause
Lee E. Krause, 90, of Colonial Courtyard in Clearfield, PA and formerly of Osceola Mills, PA died on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at Colonial Courtyard in Clearfield, PA.
Born on June 17, 1931 in Osceola Mills, PA he was the son of the late Jay L. Krause and Ruth (Vaughn) Krause Bloom. He married Marilyn J. (Kennedy) Krause on October 1, 1949 at the Osceola Mills United Methodist Church in Osceola Mills, PA: she survives at home.
He was a member of the C & M A Church in Osceola Mills, PA, the Osceola Mills Lodge #515 F & A M and was a former member and president of the Umbria Cemetery Association.
Lee was retired owner operator of the former Empire Coal Company and L. E. Krause and son Construction Company. He was a 1949 graduate of the former Osceola Mills High School. He enjoyed golfing, fishing and hunting.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Sherman Krause and his wife Edna.
Along with his wife he is survived by: two daughters, Ruth Klingensmith & her husband Rev. Eli Klingensmith of Canton, OH and Susan Rebar & her husband Andrew of Philipsburg, PA; one son, Clyde Krause & his wife Susan of Houtzdale, PA; two brothers, Larry Krause & his wife Betty of Philipsburg, PA and Dennis Krause & his wife Cathy of Osceola Mills, PA; nine grandchildren, Rachael, Anna, Laura, Lynn, Mary, Steven, Lee, Andy and Daniel; nineteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 23, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Osceola Mills, C & M A Church in Osceola Mills, PA: with Rev. James R. Evilsizor officiating. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC in Osceola Mills, PA and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to funeral time at the church.
