Althea R. Krause
Althea R. Krause, 93, of Houtzdale, PA died on Monday, March 21, 2022 at her home.
Born on June 4, 1928 in Philipsburg, PA she was the daughter of the late Carl and Cora (Nelson) Musser. She married John M. Krause on July 21, 1945 in West Decatur, PA: he preceded her in death on July 21, 2006.
Althea was a member of the Brisbin Baptist Church.
She was a retired seamstress for Charles Navasky & Company in Philipsburg, PA.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by: one daughter, Linda Graham; three sisters, Bernice Summerville, Olive Richner and Dorothy Bush; and three brothers, Max Nelson, Lyle Musser and Harold Musser.
She is survived by: one son, Thomas M. Krause & his wife Bonnie of Houtzdale, PA; six grandchildren, Carl John Graham, Mark Elmer Krause, Glenn Allen Krause, Norma Jean Graham, Steven Dale Krause and Bruce Graham; and numerous great-grandchildren.
There will be no viewing or services.
Burial will be in Philipsburg Cemetery in Philipsburg, PA.
