Dorothy L. Killion
Dorothy L. Killion, 81, of Tyrone, PA and formerly of Osceola Mills, PA died on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at the UPMC Altoona Hospital in Altoona PA.
Born on August 17, 1935 in Philipsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frederick & Margaret Gladine (Skelton) Vroman. She married Earl C. Killion on September 15, 1954 in Philipsburg, PA; he preceded her in death on November 29, 1989.
Mrs. Killion was a member of the Osceola Mills Presbyterian Church.
She was retired from the former Clearfield County Library of Osceola Mills, PA and was a 1953 graduate of the former Osceola Mills High School.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a son, Gerald Alan Killion and an infant son Michael Killion.
She is survived by: two daughters, Peggy Sankey & her husband Jack of (Chester Hill) Philipsburg, PA and Mary Beth Kensinger & her husband Edward of Tyrone, PA; one son, Earl A. Killion of Allport, PA; one sister, Lenore Hughes of Philipsburg, PA and two brothers, Fred Vroman of Munson, PA and John Vroman & his companion Sherry Hemphill of Osceola Mills, PA. She is also survived by four grandchildren, John & Michael Sankey and Dale & Zachary Kensinger and three great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, April 28, 2017 at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, PA; with Rev. D. Z. Lewis Jr. officiating. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be on Friday from 2:00 pm until funeral time at the funeral home.
