Marietta Kephart
Marietta Kephart, 95, of Osceola Mills, PA died Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Windy Hill Village, P.S.L. in Philipsburg, PA.
Born on November 23, 1920 in Osceola Mills, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frank & Armeda (Kephart) Butterbaugh. She married Sheridan S. (Cubby) Kephart on September 27, 1941 in Winchester, VA; he preceded her in death on March 4, 1975.
Mrs. Kephart was a member of the Coal Run C & M A Church (Coal Run) Osceola Mills, PA. She was a homemaker, a member of the Sanborn Grange and was a 1936 graduate of the former Osceola Mills High School.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: four brothers, Franklin Ordell Buterbaugh, Kenneth Buterbaugh, James Buterbaugh and Harold Kephart.
Mrs. Kephart is survived by: a daughter, Charlene K. Wojtowich & her husband Kenneth of Osceola Mills, PA; two sons, Morris S. Kephart & his wife Marilyn of Osceola Mills, PA and Gene C. Kephart & his wife Judy of Osceola Mills, PA; eight grandchildren, Frank Kephart, Vicky Davis, Carla Straw, Timothy Kephart, Theodore Kephart, Bart Mease, Paul Kephart and Sonia Blough; sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the Coal Run C & M A Church in Osceola Mills, PA; with Rev. Hiram Westover officiating. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills.
Visitation will be on Friday, January 15, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at the Heath Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, PA.
