Larry J. Kephart
Larry J. Kephart, 78, of Osceola Mills, PA died on Wednesday, February 13, 2019 surrounded by his family, at the Mount Nittany Medical Center in State College, PA.
Born on December 25, 1940 in Philipsburg, PA he was the son of the late Donald T. and Jean E. (Young) Kephart. He married Shirley Ann (Hendershot) Kephart on June 13, 1964 in Osceola Mills, PA; she preceded him in death on May 31, 2015.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and was a member of the 
Columbia Fire Company in Osceola Mills, PA. He had worked as a floor supervisor for General Cigar, and was retired as a mechanic for Cen-Clear Child Services. He was a 1958 graduate of the former Osceola Mills High School.
In addition to his parents and wife he was preceded in death by one sister, Sally Hallstrom.
He is survived by: two daughters, Shelly Tormey & her husband Walter of Philipsburg, PA and Wanda S. Wisor & her husband Kevin of Osceola Mills, PA; two sons, David J. Kephart & his wife Mindy of Philipsburg, PA and Trevor J, Kephart & his companion Nicole Kertis of Osceola Mills, PA; two sisters, Betty Brown of Dewey, AZ and Janet Kephart of Sandy Ridge, PA; and one brother, Bruce E. Kephart & his wife Trudie of Osceola Mills, PA. He is also survived by: eight grandchildren, Benjamin Bush, Kristin Wisor, Kayla Wisor, Derek Kephart & his wife Lauren, Danielle Kephart, Tyler Kephart & his wife Meaghan, Sabrina Kephart and Julie Kephart; and three great-grandchildren, Asher Kephart, Lylah Kephart and Christopher Burton.
At the request of Larry Kephart there will be no viewing or funeral service.
Place of burial will be the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
