Betty L. Kephart
Betty L. Kephart, 92, of (Gearhartville) Philipsburg, PA and formerly of (New Castle) Osceola Mills, PA died on Tuesday, February 4, 2014 at her home.
She was the daughter of the late Blair & Phoebe (Litten) Carr Moore, born on February 25, 1921 in West Decatur, PA. She was married to Clarence C. Kephart, who preceded her in death on May 14, 1979.
Mrs. Kephart was of the Christian Faith. She was a member of the Sanborn Grange and the Christian Women of Philipsburg, PA. She retired from the former Quaker Market in Philipsburg, PA.
In addition to her Parents and Husband, she was preceded in death by: a son, Richard Kephart; two grandsons, Blair Kephart and Scott Kephart; two daughters-in-law, Bonnie Kephart and Bonita Kephart; and a son-in-law, Jack Acey.
Mrs. Kephart is survived by: a daughter, Leaetta “Doll” Acey of Brisbin, PA; two sons, Blair O. “Sonny” Kephart of Niagara Falls, NY, and Carl Kephart & his wife Carol of (Gearhartville) Philipsburg, PA; fourteen grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills, PA; with Rev. Joe Muir officiating. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be Friday, February 7, 2014 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 12:30 until the time of the service at the funeral home.
