Harold Lee Kennedy, Jr.
Harold Lee Kennedy, Jr., 84, went home to be with the Lord Jesus in the early morning of July 30, 2015, at his residence. Born November 15, 1930, to Harold, Sr. and Madeline (Jones) Kennedy. Harold was a lifelong resident of Osceola Mills. He graduated from the former Osceola Mills High School in 1948, and on March 21, 1951, he wed the former Genevieve M. (Long) Kennedy at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church in Osceola Mills. Harold worked at the Osceola Mills brickyard as well as Penn Industrial, before settling into the Butter Krust Baking Company where he retired in 1994 after many years as a salesman. Wanting to “‘stay young,” Harold chose to enjoy his retirement while also working at The Hite Company of Clearfield and State College, PA.
Harold faithfully served as an elder at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church where he was a lifetime member. An avid outdoorsman, Harold loved to hunt with his brothers and grandchildren. He also enjoyed camping with family, woodworking, whistling, singing, and helping others.
Welcoming Harold home at the pearly gates are his parents. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Diana Tormey and her husband Robert and Sharon Laskowsky and her husband Terry, Sr., all of Osceola Mills, and Amy Pepperday and her husband Douglas of Philipsburg, six grandchildren, Shawn Minerich and his wife Bev, Terry Laskowsky, Jr. and his wife Marisa, Ashley Roney and her husband Troy, Kristina Zendek and her husband Jason, Cody and Caleb Pepperday, and six great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are a sister Shirley Hughes and her husband William of Osceola Mills, and three brothers, Clifford Kennedy of Morrisdale, Allen Kennedy and his wife Diane, and Jerry Kennedy and his wife Wanda, all of Osceola Mills.

William G. Murphy officiating. Interment will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills.
Harold was a once-in-a-lifetime person who always made two things abundantly clear- he loved Jesus, and he was proud of his family. He often said that God had blessed him with so much that he couldn’t help but to constantly smile. Anyone who has ever come in contact with Harold is a better person for having known him. We all love you and we miss your smile, but we know that God just received the world’s most loving handyman.
