Bonnie and I grew up together in Hudson, we were friends since we were young children. We spoke on the phone off and on through the years, we had gone to lunch and visited family grave sites together. We talked on the phone just last week and she said, “I am hanging in there,” and we laughed. We could always laugh. She was a very good person and I will miss her.

Aunt Bonnie I can’t believe you are gone. I never dreamed that when you came to visit us on Labor Day that would be the last time I would ever have with you. Jim loves you as well and always loved your visits. My heart is broken but I know you are now in a much better place and no more pain or suffering. You are reunited with all the others who went before you and will be waiting there for those of us who are left. I will always carry the little bubble angel you give me for my 50th birthday because it now has an additional special meaning. I feel it not only holds a connection to mom but a connection to you as well. Having you here was like still having a part of my mom here with me and you basically took over where she left off. I am so glad you got to hear me sing and I know you will be listening along with mom from Heaven. when I sing in our next Christmas Cantata the song I sing will be dedicated to you. I will miss you for the rest of my days and my life will never again be the same without you in it. I love you and peas give my mom bunches of hugs & kisses from me. Memory Eternal.

All I can say is I love and miss you so much. I am so glad I have so many memories and was blessed with one of the best grandmothers someone could ask for. Please give me the strength to get through Friday. I love you.

Hello, I am so sorry to learn of Bonnie’s passing. She and Jim were very dear to my late husband David Eugene Hutton (son of Aunt Mary). They were best friends and were married the year before we were. I only met Bonnie & Jim together once, and visited Bonnie again on another visit. She loved you so much and spoke lovingly of you often. She is going to be deeply missed.
She was lively, fun, and most gracious, and I am deeply saddened at her passing. Thank You Paul & Paula Yoder for letting me know. elsiehutton@aol.com
