Theone L. Hughes
Theone L. Hughes, 86, of Osceola Mills, PA died on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at her home.
Born on July 26, 1931 in Osceola Mills, PA, she was the daughter of the late Harper T. & Pearl (Hutton) Meyer. She married Edward L. Hughes on April 10, 1951 in Cumberland, MD; he preceded her in death on October 24, 2001.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: two sisters, Pearl Jacabella and Carolyn Meyer; and three brothers, Daniel, Ross, & Gary Evan Meyer.
She is survived by: two daughters, Linda Matia & her husband John of Brisbin, PA and Sharon Bailey & her husband Glenn of Bigler, PA; two sons, Dennis Hughes & his wife Pam of Osceola Mills, PA and Pastor Randy Hughes & his wife Traci of Lewistown, PA. She is also survived by: twelve grandchildren, Greg Hughes, Lori (Ken) Long, Jennifer (Fran) Matier, Bradley (Lindsey) Nadzom, Jeffrey (Daleen) Matia, Stephanie Matia (Derek Walker), Adam Bailey (Nicole Boehm), Melyssa (John) Jacob, Kaytlynn Hughes, Eric Hughes (Olivia Good), Kenneth Hughes (Michelle Butler), and Josiah Hughes; twenty great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Esther Smith of Philipsburg, PA, Claire Meyer of New Fairfield, CT and Martha Hughes of Osceola Mills, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 22, 2017 at the Osceola Mills United Methodist Church: with Pastor Elizabeth Stutler and Pastor Randy S. Hughes co-officiating. Burial will be at the Centre Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. until funeral time at the church.
