Ruth Lenore Hughes
Ruth Lenore Hughes, 88 of Philipsburg, PA and formerly of Osceola Mills, PA died on Thursday, December 15, 2022, At Windy Hill Village, PSL in Philipsburg, PA.
Born on April 17, 1934, in Philipsburg, PA, she was the adopted daughter of the late Frederick & Margaret (Skelton) Vroman.
Ruth was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osceola Mills, PA.
She was a 1954 graduate of the former Osceola Mills High School.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy L. Killion; a brother, Fred Vroman; and two nephews, Gerald Killion and Michael Killion.
Ruth is survived by a brother, John Vroman & his companion Sherry Hemphill of Osceola Mills, PA; two nieces, Peggy Sanky & her husband Jack of Philipsburg, PA and Mary Beth Kensinger & her husband Edward of Altoona, PA; and a nephew Earl A. Killion of Allport, PA.
Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Service, LLC in Osceola Mills, PA. Rev. Dr. Katie Hopper will officiate. Burial will be at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
