Tom and Jenny Hughes

We have fond memories of visiting the camp and spending time with Leo and the family. We will be praying for him and all of you as you remember him and his life.

Remembering childhood memories of Leo on the farm with much fondness.
My sincere sympathy to his family for their loss.

 Clint spencer

I always will remember the summers they all would come up to the farm to pick the apples and pears and bail the fields. You will always be remembered and missed.

 David and Mimi Brooks

Our deepest sympathy to the family for the passing of a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. Leo was a master of tools and could build anything. We are sure the Lord has a few projects for him.

Leo was a talented man that gave much and asked for very little in return. A hand crafted fishing net that he made and I won as a child has always been one of my most cherished possessions. I was blessed later as a young man to have Leo guide me and critique my work while using is jig and his equipment to make nets for my own sons and brothers…… it was a priceless experience! I enjoyed his stories, and the countless hours I spent walking behind him “on the Mtn” learning the words. I owe much of what I know of those woods and love about that Mtn. to him. He will always be on my mind and in my heart when I am there. He was a leader (a genuine Field General) and as a child I was drawn to him as someone who was larger than life. He was very good to me and always made time for me. Leo was one of those rare individuals you hope to be blessed to encounter in your life. I truly enjoyed his presence, and I am blessed to have learned from him for the better part of five decades. Well done Sir! Rest in peace.

He was larger than life. My dad always looked up to him. He left such a legacy of good people. What sticks with me now is the ever present rosary I remover him carrying. Our prayers are with you as you say goodbye. There is one loud party going on in heaven right now.
