Catherine I. “Cathy” Hollis
Catherine I. “Cathy” Hollis, 73, of Osceola Mills, PA died on Friday, July 9, 2021 at her home.
Born on February 20, 1948 in Pittsburgh, PA she was the daughter of the late M. Margaret (Caldwell) Lane. She married Larry J. Hollis on July 6, 1991 at the Immaculate Conception Church Catholic Church in Osceola Mills, PA: he survives at home.
She was a member of the Saint Severin Catholic Church in Drifting, PA.
Catherine was a retired school teacher for the Central Intermediate Unit, the treasurer for the Osceola Mills Historical Foundation, a member of the former Osceola Mills Civic Club and the treasurer for the Osceola Mills Presbyterian Church Free Dinner Program. She graduated from Penn Hills High School, Penn Hills suburb of Pittsburgh, PA, graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and earned her Masters Degree from Penn State University.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by one son, Richard L. Sipe, Jr.
Along with her husband she is survived by: one daughter, Jennifer F. Guilmet & her husband Keith of Indianapolis, IN; one brother, Thomas Lane; and two grandchildren, Jocob McGowan and Riley Guilmet.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Saint Severin Catholic Church in Drifting, PA: with Rev. Father David Perry Celebrant. Burial will be held at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC in Osceola Mills, PA.
The Rosary will be recited on Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
