Shirley Hollenbach, 79, of Spike Island passed away peacefully in her home on Friday October 14th.
Shirley moved to Osceola from Virginia Beach where she had been employed by Haynes Furniture, Papco Oil and also owned her own business named Hoagies. She was an avid gardener, artist and loved buying an old home and making it beautifully and perfectly hers. She had an impeccable sense of style which was found in everything she touched. Shirley also enjoyed being on board of the Historical Society and donated many family heirlooms to the museum. She loved the beach and the mountains and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Shirley was predeceased by her parents Frank and Helen (Petlikowski) Raftovich and her brother Frank J. Raftovich also of Spike Island. She is survived by her daughters Tracy Martin, husband Geoff of Virginia Beach, VA. and Hether Kaczorowski, Husband Daniel, and grandchildren Dexter Kaczorowski & Zander Brown Kaczorowski of Spike Island.
A celebration of life is planned at Shirley’s home on Saturday November 12th from 2-4. Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Osceola Mills, PA is handling arrangements.
