Ida B. Hockenberry
Ida B. Hockenberry, 76, of Houtzdale, PA died Friday, February 19, 2016 at her home.
Born on April 11, 1939 in Houtzdale, PA, she was the daughter of the late Cyrus and Grace (Reed) Goss
Mrs. Hockenberry was of the Christian faith and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: a son, Melvin Hockenberry; two grandsons, Brian Stiner and Irvin Hockenberry III; two sisters, Lucille Codwell and Frances Bloom; and a brother Norman Goss.
She is survived by: two daughters; Grace M. Steiner of Beccaria, PA and Penny L. Kougher & her husband Tom of Coalport, PA; three sons; Bruce I. Hockenberry of Clearfield, PA, Donald W. Hockenberry of Houtzdale, PA and Irvin L. Hockenberry & his wife Chris of Houtzdale, PA; a sister, June Hockenberry of Smithmill, PA; and three brothers, Bobby Goss & his wife Judy of Buffalo, NY, Fred Goss & his wife Marcia of Houtzdale, PA and Jimmy Goss of Niagara Falls, NY. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and fourteen great-great grandchildren.
The Funeral Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 22, 2016 at Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, PA; with Rev. Joseph P. Staszewski officiating. Burial will be at the I.O.O.F Cemetery in Brisbin, PA.
Friends will be received on Monday, February 22, 2016 from 4:00 p.m. until time of the funeral service at the funeral home.
