Elliott Matthew Henry
Our beloved son, Elliott Matthew Henry, of Sandy Ridge, went to be with his Lord and Savior on June 1st, 2023. Elliott was a loving son with a great sense of humor. He was born on June 18, 1989, at Philipsburg, Pa., and was a 2007 graduate of the Philipsburg Osceola High School. He attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
He is survived by his mother, Vickie K. (Roach) Henry of Sandy Ridge, his father, Ronald J. Henry of Osceola Mills and a sister, Crystal D. Henry (Ron’s daughter from a prior marriage) of Madisonburg, Pa.
He was employed in the construction field in Pittsburgh, Pa., and was previously employed at PennDot, District 10 in Indiana, Pa., as a Safety Inspector.
He attended the gFree Church in Gearhartville, Pa., as well as the Allegheny Missionary Alliance Church in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Elliott enjoyed riding ATVs, was an avid outdoorsman and loved all music.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, David and Virginia (Ginny) Roach and Ronald L. and Aloisia Henry and an Uncle, Michael Henry.
While his loss is heartbreaking, his family and friends find comfort in knowing that his battle is over, that he no longer struggles with the pain he lived with and which destroyed so much of his hope and promise for the future.
The service is closed to the public, Pastor Noel Meyers will officiate. A viewing will be held for family and close family friends on Tuesday, June 6th from 6 to 8 pm and from 10 am until the time of the service on Wednesday, June 7th at 11 am at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, in Osceola Mills, Pa. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
