Helen M. Hayward
Helen M. Hayward, 77, of Houtzdale, PA died on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at Penn Highlands Clearfield Hospital.
Born on June 30, 1940 in Clearfield, PA, she was the daughter of the late Calvin and Beatrice (Shamp) Carns. She married William R. Hayward on May 4, 1968 in Winchester, VA: he survives at home.
She was of the Christian Faith.
Mrs. Hayward was retired from the Cen-Clear Child Services as a bus driver and was a 1958 graduate of the Curwensville High School.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Emily Carns and Alice Kopchick.
Along with her husband, she is survived by: one son, William J. Hayward & his wife Lynn Ann of Osceola Mills, PA; one sister, Jackie Hewitt of Mahaffey, PA; one brother, Bernie Carns of CA; four grandchildren, Breana, Hannah, Olivia and Jason; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, PA: with Rev. William Murphy officiating.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until funeral time at the funeral home.
