Mona Jean Gray
Mona Jean Gray, 88, of Altoona, PA died on Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at the Altoona Center for Nursing Care in Altoona, PA.
Born on March 1, 1932 in Clearfield, PA, she was the daughter of the late Dana and Ruth (Westover) Westover. She married Cash Gray, Jr. on April 25, 1949 in Cumberland, MD, he preceded her in death on December 12, 2017.
She was a member of the Hope Community Church in Altoona, PA and the Glendale Assembly of God Church in Coalport, PA.
Mona was retired from her family business as an accountant/bookkeeper and had obtained her GED.
She enjoyed gardening and shopping.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by: one sister, Amelia Rebon; and four brothers, Jack, Paul, Van and Bill Westover.
She is survived by: one daughter, Kathy Boyd & her husband Howard of Branson, MO; three sons, Gary Gray & his wife Sabrina of Sevierville, TN, Pastor John Gray & his wife Tammy of Altoona, PA and Cash Gray, III of Falling Timber (Van Omer), PA; one sister, Geraldine Vaughn of Mogadore, OH; fourteen grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and former daughter-in-law Carol Gray.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at the Hope Community Church, 1520 11th. Street, Altoona, PA: with Pastor John Gray officiating.
Visitation will be held on Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to funeral time at the church.
