Verda M. Graffius
Verda M. Graffius, 87, of Woodland, PA died on Friday, May 26, 2017 at her home.
Born on February 28, 1930 in Woodland, PA, she was the daughter of the late Cyrus & Mildred (Maines) Maines. She married Leonard L. Graffius on October 21, 1949 in Clearfield, PA; he preceded her in death on May 23, 2012.
Mrs. Graffius was of the Christian Faith and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: three sisters, Roseann McBride, Dorothy Mabie & Donna Maines; one brother, William Maines; and a granddaughter April Graffius.
She is survived by: two daughters, Margaret Maines & her husband Stanley of Woodland, PA and Mildred Graffius of Woodland, PA; four sons, Leonard Graffius & his wife Kim of DuBois, PA, Burton Gaffius & his wife Tammy of West Decatur, PA, James Graffius & his wife Darlene of Woodland, PA and William Graffius & his wife Arlene of Woodland, PA; five sisters, Virginia Steele of VA, Vera Martel of Clearfield, PA, Iona Spade of Irvona, PA, Lillian Hanel of DuBois, PA, and Bonnie Hile of Clearfield, PA; one brother, Cyrus Maines of Clearfield, PA. She is also survived by: twelve grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
A Memorial Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at the Bradford Cemetery in Woodland, PA: with Pastor Brenda Libreatori officiating.
There will be no viewing or visitation.
