James R. Garvey, Jr.
James R. Garvey, Jr., 59, of Osceola Mills, PA died on Monday, June 3, 2019 at his home.
Born on September 24, 1959 in Philipsburg, PA he was the son of Kathryn L. (Albright) Garvey of Philipsburg, PA and James R. “Bud” Garvey, Sr. and Nancy L. (McQuade) Garvey of Fairhope, PA.
He was a heavy equipment mechanic and was a 1977 graduate of the Philipsburg Osceola Mills High School.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by: one daughter, Julia D. Greene of Altoona, PA; one son, James Hunter Garvey of Indiana, PA; two sisters, Tina Kolesar & her husband Donald of Allport, PA and Susan Garvey of Johnstown, PA; one brother, Robert A. Garvey & his wife Melanie of Grassflat, PA; numerous nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and great-nephews.
The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 7, 2019 at 12:00 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC in Osceola Mills, PA: with Rev. Robert Bruinooge officiating.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to funeral time at the funeral home.
