So sorry to hear about Rick’s passing. Last time we were together we played corn hole with the church and walked the trails at Shades State Park. Miss his laughter and the joy he brought into our lives.

Rick,
When I think of you, I think of all the happy memories we have from years ago.
You were so much a part of our family and very loved by all of us.
I remember all the times you helped me in my kitchen and learned to cook Italian food better than me.
I also remember how moved you were by the birth of Ricky and Sebastian. I can still see the tears in your eyes as you looked at them at their births. I know you love them very much. They will always have someone special in Heaven to protect and watch over them.
We have and always will love and miss you. Rest in peace with God.
Our deepest condolences to your loved ones.
With love,
Mom and Dad Leonard

Rick is my uncle, & though I haven’t seen him in years, he always still had a presence in my life. When I picture him, I see a young guy in jeans, wearing a yellow Cheerios t-shirt and a black leather jacket hahaha. But the image I held of him was much more important as a child. When I was younger, I didn’t see eye to eye with everyone & I was a little misunderstood. Uncle Rick always seemed to just understand me and got to know me for who I was as a person, even at a young age he really took the time to understand my views, my strengths, my weaknesses, likes and dislikes, etc. More than just an uncle, Rick was like a second father to me. I had a special connection with him and my aunt and just wanted to spend as much time with them as possible, almost felt like I was their son. I would love to visit their house by the beach whenever I could and one of the biggest reasons I loved being with them is because they never treated me like a kid. Of course they would protect & guide me but always explained things to me, they made me understand a lot about life & how to handle situations. This is something I will always be grateful to them for. There are so many memories I have with him/them all throughout my childhood but some of the most vivid are as follows: going to the Monmouth University basketball games when Uncle Rick worked for Aramark, the day they took me into Manhattan so I could actually experience the city and all it has to offer, visiting PA for 4th of July in his hometown, numerous sleepovers, traveling to Italy with him on 3 different planes to meet my grandparents in Sicily, going to their house every weekend in 8th grade so he could help me do science homework/make-up work (& sneaking off to watch a movie with baby Ricky when they weren’t looking), I remember Uncle Rick always helping Grandma cook for the holidays and really any event we held, he was the chef in the family & we certainly enjoyed anything he prepared for us. I remember how excited we were when we heard the announcement of both Ricky & Sebastian. I could go on and on but it just goes to show, it’s not the amount of time someone is in your life that matters but the impact they made on it. Uncle Rick was an important part of my life and will be an important part of my memory and heart forever. There are things you left with me and all of us that will always remain, however, the greatest 2 gifts are your sons Ricky & Sebastian. They are two of the most wonderful, intelligent, kind, well mannered, strongest children in the world. I realize I am partial, but they are truly exceptional young men. The love they have from their family will be there as support system forever, and now Uncle Rick can watch them even when we can’t. May God be with everyone at this time and may Uncle Rick be watching us from Heaven, at peace.

Rick, I was so sad to hear of your passing. There are many happy memories that come to mind and those memories will remain in our hearts forever. And know, that just because time passes doesn’t mean we forget people who meant something to us. You were and always will be in our prayers, you were loved by all of us, and will be truly missed. Always watch over your two beautiful sons, Ricky and Sebastian. They are such wonderful and sweet boys. Rest in peace with God, my dear brother-in-law.

I am so sorry for your loss and prayers to the whole family.
I haven’t seen Rick in a lot of years, but I will never forget all the times that we all hung out together growing up. I won’t forget that big smile he always had on his face. He will be sadly missed, but we all and especially your family has an awesome angel looking over us now. Deepest sympathies and God bless.

So sorry for your loss.
I will be doing something and think of something silly he would do or say. He brought a lot of joy into my life. I am a much better person today for knowing him. I would have never missed the dance.
Rick and Taylor would debate anything. They would go shopping every Saturday morning. Very sweet. She loved it.
Chandler and Rick Wrestling the only thing I can say it was a hot mess but funny. You will be missed.
We all have your address and it is with the Lord and we can talk anytime.
