My sincerest sympathy to the family of my dearest friend and church pew partner. I have known Marian many years and even her best friend Hilda Conlon. Marian spoke so fondly of each of you and missed you all terribly and prayed you would visit more often but she didn’t want to bother you and keep you from your own lives and business affairs. each of you meant the world to her since she never married and loved getting news and letters or notes in cards and showed them off when they came. Marian was a treasure in our family too. She had great wisdom and coming from a preacher family we always had things to talk about as to how a church should be run and she did her job serving on the Pastor Parrish Relations board for many, many years at Wesley United Methodist Church in St. Petersburg, FL She loved eating at the Village Inn on 4th street and liked to go on Wednesdays when they gave a free slice of banana or coconut cream pie . she also liked Chinese take out and pepperoni lovers pizza hut. so remember her each time you sit down to enjoy one of those. she loved my 3 sons and was so proud of each of them and encouraged them in their school work and girlfriends. she always told it like it was and only had to answer to one person in the end; well my dear friend. I know how pleased he was here so you have a Mansion reserved for you there. you earned it. I will sing all your favorite hymns for they were mine too. I will light a candle for you on you birthday. You will Not be forgotten. spread those angel wings . love you.
