Suzanne Monfette
Aunt Margaret, Sorry to learn of Uncle George’s passing. My mom, Susan, who died in 1963, was George’s sister. Although I haven’t seen him in years, I can still hear him with his wonderful Pennsylvania/Ukrainian accent looking for his Army boots out at the farm, saying, “I vooked in the cellar, I vooked in the pantry.” May he rest in peace. Also, his sisters, Nancy and Catherine are still alive, even though they are listed as deceased in the obituary. Obviously, they didn’t keep in touch, which several of them chose not to over the years. Will keep you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.
