Mitch lived at the end our street and ran around with my brother Jim. I was a lot younger than those guys! I would ride my pedal bike around the neighborhood and would antagonize Mitch. He would chase me down and give me a frenchtown beating. ( They consisted of wedgies, noggies and several punches to my arms and back! ) LOL Later in life when I ran into Mitch, I would remind him of those childhood memories! He would smile and laugh about it and say he was just trying to toughen me up! He did toughen me up! He is going to be missed by so many and stories will be told about the memories with him! RIP Mitch! Prayers to the entire family!

Mitch and I were good friends growing up.
To all his friends in the 70’s he was known as “Fooey”.
I have so many good memories of those years!
Bike riding, camping out at Drane, dirt bike riding, shooting his pellet gun in the basement,
Hanging out with Mark, Nick, Sauce, Buck, Jim, his brother Rick, and so many others!
It’s those memories that will keep him alive in my heart.
Rest In Peace Fooey, we won’t forget ya, I promise.

I just heard about Mitch today. This is an incredibly sad loss. I’ve know Mitch or “”Mitchey Poo” as I affectionately called him, since I was 18 and he married my BFF Kim. We had a lot of fun times, and I have many fond memories of our good times spent back in the day. To his family…..I am so sorry for your loss. I will always remember Mitch with that devilish smile, and how we used to pick on each other just to see who could the most digs in (all in fun of course)! I hope he has found peace. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love, Tammy
