Jane K. Fox
Jane K. Fox, 89, of Osceola Mills, PA died Friday, March 25, 2016 at her home.
Born on October 27, 1926 she was the daughter of the late Dr. Johnathan K. & Edith (Stott) Henderson. She married James E. Fox on August 14, 1948 in Osceola Mills, PA; he preceded her in death on October 29, 2004.
Mrs Fox was a member of the First Church of Christ in Philipsburg, PA. She was a homemaker and a member of Planned Parenthood, Contemporary Club in Philipsburg, PA, a former board member of the Family Health Services, DAR in Philipsburg, PA, VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Osceola Mills, PA and BPOE Elks # 1173 in Philipsburg,PA,
She attended the Philipsburg Schools and graduated from the Warrenton Country School in Warrenton, VA. She was a 1948 graduate of Hood College in Frederick Md.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a grandson, John Prince and a sister, Gail Rossier.
She is survived by: a daughter, Edith Ann Sipe & her husband Richard of Clearfield, PA; four sons, James Emmett Fox, Jr. & his wife Cindy of Yuma, AZ, Joseph H. Fox of Osceola Mills, PA, Patrick A. Fox & his wife Sue of Bay City, TX and William C. Fox & his wife Sandra of Osceola Mills, PA; and a brother, James S. Henderson & his wife Marie of Philipsburg,PA.
She is also survived by: seven grandchildren, Jesse O’Donnell, Sara Gray, James Fox, Christopher Fox, Kristen Fox, Hunter Fox and Kaelie Fox; and five great-grandchildren.
Private Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family at the First Church of Christ in Philipsburg, PA; with Pastor Ryan Parish officiating.
There will be no visitation.
