Joseph William Fetter, Sr.

Joseph William Fetter, Sr., 83, of Clearfield, PA and formerly of Osceola Mills, PA died on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at Mountain Laurel Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Clearfield, PA.

Born on January 18, 1931 in Wickard, PA, he was the son of the late Stanley & Daisy (Basuett) Fetter.  He married Dorine A. (Slish) Fetter on December 8, 1951 in Niagra Falls, NY; who survives in Clearfield, PA.

Mr. Fetter was of the Christian Faith.  He was a retired Welder for Union Carbide of Niagara Falls, NY and was a graduate of the LaSalle High School in Niagara Falls, NY.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: a son, Joseph W. Fetter, Jr.; a sister, Ethel McDonald; and two brothers John and Stanley Fetter.

Along with his wife, Mr. Fetter is survived by: three sons, Victor P. Fetter & his wife Kristine of Niagara Falls, NY, Richard D. Fetter & his wife Elizabeth of Henderson, NC and Vincent A. Fetter & his wife Mary of Niagara Falls, NY; and four grandchildren, Krystal Fetter, Victor Fetter, Travis Fetter & Sheila Fetter.

Burial will be at the Centre Cemetery in RD Osceola Mills, PA.

At the request of Mr. Fetter there will be no viewing or service.
