Loretta A. “Lori” Ferguson
Loretta A. “Lori” Ferguson, 66, of Philipsburg, PA died on October 24, 2016 at her home.
Born on November 6, 1949 in Osceola Mills, PA she was the daughter of the late Austin J. Carson, Sr., and Loretta V. (Hughes) Carson. In 1973 she married Brice Ferguson in Philipsburg, PA; he preceded her in death in September of 1981.
Mrs. Ferguson was of the Christian Faith. She was a retired registered nurse at SCI Rockview, a 1967 graduate of the Philipsburg Osceola Mills High School and a 1970 graduate from the former Philipsburg State General Hospital School of Nursing.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jay Carson and a sister, Virginia Jordan.
She is survived by: a daughter, Dory Ferguson of Boalsburg, PA; two sisters, Anna Ruth Myers & her husband Walter of Osceola Mills, PA and Gail Francisco & her husband Dennis of Houtzdale, PA and a brother, A. John Carson Jr. & his wife Joan of Osceola Mills, PA.
At Loretta’s request there will be no viewing or funeral service. Burial will be at the Centre Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
