Elizabeth J. “Betty” Felix
Elizabeth J. “Betty” Felix, 87, of Osceola Mills, PA died on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at her home.
Born on December 6, 1927 in Osceola Mills, PA, she was the daughter of the late Frederick & Catherine (O’Farrell) Penny. She married Andrew J. Felix, Sr. on May 14, 1949 in Philipsburg, PA, he survives at home.
Mrs. Felix was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osceola Mills, PA. She was retired from Penn State University in the Physical Plant and was a 1946 graduate of the former Osceola Mills High School. She enjoyed bingo, crossword puzzles and visiting the casinos.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by: a son, Andrew J. Felix, Jr.; five sisters, Catherine Penny, Margaret Colton, Sarah Socash, Harriet Cowfer and Ann Pollick; and an infant son.
Along with her husband, Mrs. Felix is survived by: a sister, Delores (Dolly) Cowfer of Osceola Mills, PA and a daughter-in-law, Linda L. Felix of State College, PA.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osceola Mills, PA, with Rev. Father Robert J. Horgas officiating. Burial will be at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Friends and family will be received on Monday, November 23, 2015 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The Rosary will be recited on Monday at 7:30 at the funeral home.
