Andrew J. Felix
Andrew J. Felix, 98 of Philipsburg, PA formerly of Osceola Mills, PA died Thursday, May 19, 2022 at Mt. Nittany Medical Center in State College, PA.
Born on December 7, 1923 in Brisbin, PA, he was the son of the late Paul Felix Sr., and Nancy (Swistock) Felix. He married Elizabeth J. (Penny) Felix on December 14, 1949 in Philipsburg, PA: she preceded him in death on November 21, 2015. He is survived by his companion, Yvonna V. McGlone of Philipsburg, PA.
He was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osceola Mills, PA; the American Legion; and was a member and past commander of the VFW Post 5020 in Osceola Mills, PA.
Andrew was an Army Veteran of WWII and was a retired Barber having worked in Snow Shoe, PA from 1954 to 1979.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son Andrew J. Felix, Jr.; two sisters, Helen Falls and Margie Koleno; and a brother Paul Felix, Jr.
Along with his companion, he is survived by a sister, Delores Mallard of Santa Ana, CA; and a brother Alfred Felix and his wife Jo of Mentor, OH.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, May 23, 2022 at 10:00 am at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Osceola Mills, PA; with Rev. Father Robert J. Horgas Celebrant. Burial will be at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be held Sunday, May 22, 2022 from 5pm to 7pm at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC in Osceola Mills, PA.
Rosary will be recited at 6pm on Sunday at the funeral home. Military Honors will be accorded by the Osceola Mills Honor Guard at the cemetery.
