Joyce E. English
Joyce E. English, 66, of West Decatur, PA died on Monday September 8, 2014 at the DuBois Regional Medical Center in Dubois, PA.
Born on December 22, 1947 in Philipsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Ruth (Loechel) Albert. She married Allen L. English on August 17, 1963 in West Decatur, PA; he survives at home.
Mrs. English was of Christian Faith and worked as an LPN for the Dubois Regional Medical Center, retiring after 27 years of service. She earned her LPN from the Clearfield County Vo-Tech. Mrs. English enjoyed making crafts, sewing, baking, and loved her dogs.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons: Robert L. English & his wife Terry of Morrisdale, PA, William P. English of West Decatur, PA, and Michael English & his wife Sally of Winburne, PA; a sister Paula Kyler & her husband Dan of West Decatur, PA; a brother Duane Albert of Hershey, PA; eight grandchildren, JoAnn, Kelly, Michael Thomas, Jimmy, Michael Paul, Kaylin, Brittany & Cierra; and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, September 12, 2014 at the Winburne Presbyterian Church with Gary B. Jewart officiating.
