Arthur C. “Mike” Eirich
Arthur C. “Mike” Eirich, 70, of Ft. Lauderdale FL and formerly of Osceola Mills, PA died on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at the Gold Coast Hospice in the Broward Health Medical Center in Ft. Lauderdale, FL.
Born on September 1, 1946 in Philipsburg, PA, he was the son of the late Harry & Eleanor (Mayes) Eirich.
Mr. Eirich was of the Christian Faith.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, a life member of VFW Post 1966 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, a member of the American Legion in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and was retired from Mr. X Brake Exchange in Ft. Lauderdale, FL as the manager and corporate vice president. He was a 1964 graduate of the Philipsburg Osceola High School.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister, Lois Moyer, and one brother, Harry Eirich.
He is survived by: one son, Michael B. Eirich & his wife Georgette of Morrisdale, PA; one sister, Karen Dixon of Osceola Mills, PA; two brothers, John F. Eirich of Tyrone, PA and James L. Eirich, Sr. & his wife Doris of Osceola Mills, PA; and three grandchildren, Taylor, Caitlin, and Matthew Eirich.
A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services in Osceola Mills, PA: with Pastor Jim Hollister officiating. Burial will be at the Umbria Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until funeral time at the funeral home.
Military Honors will be accorded by the Osceola Mills Honor Guard.
