Rickey A. Droll, Jr.
Rickey A. Droll, Jr., 47, of West Decatur, PA died on Friday, March 8, 2019 at his home.
Born on August 25, 1971 in Clearfield, PA he was the son of Rickey A. Droll, Sr., and Marjorie A. (McMonigle) Droll of West Decatur, PA. He married Dana L. (Myers) Droll on June 30, 2007 in West Decatur, PA, she survives at home.
He was of the Christian Faith.
Rickey worked at the Philipsburg Osceola Mills High School in the maintenance department and was the owner of Droll’s Garage. He was a 1990 graduate of the Philipsburg Osceola Mills High School. He was an avid hunter, talented and hard worker, he loved and was devoted to his canine companions and was a very loyal friend to many.
He was preceded in death by: two uncles, Jack McMonigle and Richard Droll, grandparents, Paul & Wava McMonigle and Russell & Hazel Droll; and one cousin, Danny Droll.
In addition to his parents and wife, he is survived by: one son, Brandon P. Droll of Boalsburg, PA; one sister, Tresa A. Ciprich & her husband Scott of Pleasant Gap, PA; one sister-in-law, Brenda L. Myers of Philipsburg, PA; three nieces, Mackenzie Ciprich-Betzold & her husband Brandon, Lacey Potter and Camden Potter; and father and mother-in-law George & Marcia Myers of Philipsburg, PA.
The Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Serces, LLC in Osceola Mills, PA: with Rev. Scott Hartsock officiating. Burial will be at the Stoneville Cemetery in West Decatur, PA.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. till funeral time at the funeral home.
