Ian Douglas
Ian Douglas (66) of Parsonville passed away at his home on January 9th 2022.
He was born May 16th 1955 in Newcastle Upon Tyne England to Donald and Maragaret Douglas. On March 22nd he married his best friend and love of his life Maria in Alnwick England. Throughout their life together they shared many laughs and adventures.
Ian had a love for his friends and family that could not be put into words. His laugh was infectious and his smile could light up the darkest of rooms.
Ian is survived by his loving wife Maria, two daughters Cheryl Kingsbury and husband Jonathan of North Yorkshire England, Kelly Evans and husband Lance of Ginter PA, two sons Stephen Douglas and partner Emma from Amble England, James Litzinger and wife Trisha from Kylertown PA. Eight grandchildren that he loved with everything he had, Harrison and Madison Kingsbury, Talia Douglas, Ilsie, Iliza, Ileana Litzinger, Landyn and Deakon Evans. His very special niece Amber Graham along with numerous other nieces and nephews. Three sisters Tracy Shephard and husband Jim of Amble England, Lisa Coe of Scotland, Lindsay Kier of Amble England, Sister in law Hazel Graham and husband Ray of Atlantic PA, Brother in law Troy Mulhollen and wife Deb of Richmond VA, Mother and father in law Marge and Jim Mulhollen of Glen Hope PA, Aunt Joan and husband Sid of Amble England, Aunt Margaret and husband Gerald of Amble England.
Ian was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents, his loving parents Donald and Margaret Douglas, brother in law Michael Mulhollen, and a beloved nephew Jordan Coe.
Ian worked as a surface mine operations manager until he retired in 2020.
Ian’s love for travel, friends and family will be greatly missed.
Due to Ian’s wishes there will be no funeral services or visitation.
