Norman A. “Bowser” Demchak
Norman A. “Bowser” Demchak, 69 of New Millport,PA, formerly of Sandy Ridge, PA passed away Monday, April 9 2012 at his home.
Born March 8, 1943 in Sandy Ridge, PA he was the son of Nina A (Spittler) Demchak of Sandy Ridge, PA and the late Andrew “Jumbo” Demchak. He was married to Selina K. (Voyzey) Demchak on November 26, 1966 in Sandy Ridge, PA.
Mr. Demchak was of the Christian Faith. He was a member of the Rescue Hose & Ladder Co. in Curwensville, PA and the Lincoln Slovak Club in Hawk Run, PA.
He was the Owner and Operator of the former Demchak’s Trucking Company. Mr. Demchak graduated from the Philipsburg Osceola High School class of 1961
He is survived by two daughters Lori L. Demchak and her companion Rich Larson of Curwensville, PA. and Sue Ann Harris and her husband Richard of Houtzdale, PA; one son James A. Demchak of Osceola Mills PA; three sisters Carolyn Merideth and her husband Lee of Tyrone, PA, Judy Meek and her husband Robert of Sandy Ridge, PA, Marcia Meyers and her husband George of Philipsburg, PA; one brother Dennis L. Demchak of Clearfield, PA; six grandchildren, Ryan, Kayla, Ashley & Molly Demchak of Curwensville PA and Sara & Laura Harris of Houtzdale, PA; and numerous nieces & nephews.
No funeral service or visitation will be held. Heath Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
