Frances H. Daugherty
Frances H. Daugherty, 76 of Madison, OH died on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at the Lake West Hospital in Willoughby, OH.
She was the daughter of the late Frank S. & Rose Marie (Blake) Adams, born on August 14, 1937 in Osceola Mills, PA. She married Leo Daugherty, Jr. on December 26, 1955 in Osceola Mills, PA. He preceded her in death on November 17, 2010.
Mrs. Daugherty was a member of the St. Cyprian Catholic Church in Perry, OH and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW in Madison, OH. She was a self-employed entrepreneur and vice president of Daugherty and Associates in Independence OH and a 1955 graduate of the former Osceola Mills High School.
She loved traveling with her husband and enjoyed spending time by the tranquil waters of Lake Erie.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by: a sister, Mary Cowfer; and two brothers, James Adams and Joseph Adams.
Mrs. Daugherty is survived by: a daughter, Terry Daugherty Boehm & her husband Robert of Medina, OH; a son, Leo Daugherty III and his wife Rhonda of Rhineyville, KY; two sisters, Josephine Shaw & her husband James of Bellefonte, PA and Deborah Collins & her companion Charles Loesch of Centre Hall, PA; and four brothers, Frank J. Adams & his wife Annette of Edison, NY, John F. Adams of Toms River, NJ, Albert P. Adams & his wife Marylin of Osceola Mills, PA, and Robert S. Adams & his wife Elaine of Osceola Mills, PA. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Bridgette, Benjamin, and Ryan Boehm.
Graveside Services will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Friday, December 6, 2013 at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Osceola Mills, PA, with Deacon Dennis Socash officiating.
There will be no visitation.
Local services are under the direction of Heath Funeral Home in Osceola Mills, PA.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 4, 2013 at St. Cyprian Catholic Church in Perry OH, with the Rev. Father George Kusy as celebrant.
