Patricia A. Croft
Patricia A. Croft, 72, of West Decatur, PA died on Saturday, July 23, 2022 at her home.
Born on June 28, 1950 in Philipsburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Raymond C. “Frog” & Lois A. (Richner) Shimmel. She married Larry R. Croft on May 29, 1982 at the Ohio United Methodist Church in Osceola Mills, PA; he survives at home.
Patricia was a member of the Messiah Baptist Church in Kylertown, PA and was a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders, Chapter I.
She was retired from SCI Rockview as a Secretary in the educational department and was also a Beautician. She was a 1969 graduate of the Philipsburg-Osceola High School. She also graduated from Prontos Beauty School in Altoona, PA and from South Hills School of Business and Technology.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by a sister, Cindy Socie; and a brother Mitchell Shimmel.
Along with her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Belinda Cunningham & her husband Raymond of Morrisdale, PA; two step-daughters, Stacy Croft of Waynesburg, PA and Carrie Croft of Stow, OH; a step-son, Rob Croft & his wife Angie of Marshall, MI; a sister, Brenda Hampton & her husband Roy of West Decatur, PA; and a brother, Kevin L. Shimmel & his wife Traci of Philipsburg, PA.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 2022 at the Heath Funeral Home & Cremation Services, LLC, 701 Lingle St., Osceola Mills, PA. Patty’s Pastor, Rev. Dr. Earl R. Shawley will officiate. Burial will be at Baughman Cemetery in (Sanborn) Rural Houtzdale, PA.
Visitation will be held from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2022 , and on Friday from noon until the time of the funeral service at the funeral home.
